Connected Ranger
Connected Ranger is an industry grade geolocation device for both indoor and outdoor usage. The device can be used for example to track assets or shipments, geofencing, warehouse inventory and equipment leasing.
The device scans surrounding Wi-Fi networks when it has detected motion and sends information of the strongest three MAC addresses and RSSI values to Sigfox network. This data is refined to correspond physical geolocation in backend platform services such as FoxerIoT.
Due to Connected Ranger’s robustness it is a perfect long term solution for demanding tracking conditions. The installation of the device is extremely simple procedure, and requires neither special tools nor configuration operation. Connected Ranger is easy to attach to any kind of surfaces using screws or zip-ties. Long battery life and affordable price guarantee low life cycle costs for the device.
